Back up your XVR project(s) β keep at least one copy offline or in separate cloud storage.
Duplicate the project file/folder and test on the duplicate first.
If possible, version your work (e.g. dated copies like ProjectName_YYYY-MM-DD_backup).
Verify in a safe test environment
Test any conversions or changes in a clean test project before using them in operational/training scenarios.
Keep a record of what changed so you can roll back quickly.
Respect licensing and IP
Only use models/textures you have the rights to use. Some exported assets may be restricted by source licence or vendor terms β check before sharing or deploying.
