When will the apps be in the App Store and Google Play?
Both are in preparation. The Google Play listing is further along; the iOS build follows once Apple Developer Program enrolment completes. We would rather give you a date we can keep than one that slips, so the honest answer today is "soon" — register your interest and we will tell you when each store goes live.
In the meantime the browser version at /mobile/ is the same application, and can be added to a phone's home screen where it behaves like an installed app.
Will we need MDM profiles or an app store rollout?
Not for the browser version — it installs from a link with no MDM profile, no admin rights and no store account. That is deliberate: it is the same reason every other tool here is browser-based.
The native builds will be ordinary public store listings, so services that prefer to distribute through managed devices can do so through their existing MDM.
What data does it collect?
Exercise results and quiz scores, stored against a random device identifier — there are no accounts and no name is required. A photograph leaves the phone only when a trainee chooses to scan a scene. Name, email and organisation are collected only if someone sends an in-app enquiry. No location data of any kind is collected.

Can a trainee delete their data?
Yes, and without asking us. Settings → Data & sync offers Erase all local data, which clears that phone, and Erase synced data on the server, which deletes the copy we hold — results, any scanned photographs, and the device identifier itself.
Does it work without a signal?
The DRA Journey and the quiz do, once their scene packs are downloaded — that is what the packs are for. Scan-Aid does not, because the analysis runs on a server. The app tells you which is which rather than failing quietly.
Where is it hosted, and is it GDPR-compliant?
UK-hosted, AWS London region. No analytics trackers, advertising pixels or telemetry. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request — contact [email protected].

Your ground, not a generic one
Scenes built from your own station areas and risk profile — the industrial estate, the moorland edge, the high-rise, the stretch of motorway your crews actually turn out to. Appliances, callsigns and terminology match your service rather than a national average.
Events timed to the risk calendar
Push a themed set of exercises when it matters: wildfire through the dry months, flooding and water safety through the winter, bonfire period, and whatever your own incident data says the watch should be sharp on this month.
Sign in with existing credentials
Single sign-on against your identity provider — Microsoft Entra ID and other OAuth2 providers — so there is no separate account to issue, no password to reset, and joiners and leavers are handled by the same process you already run.
Full logging and reporting
Once people are signed in, activity becomes evidence: who completed what, when, and how they scored, rolled up by watch, station and service. Exportable for competence records and training returns rather than trapped in the app.
